anyone else have hatred of particular brands?
i fucking hate vauxhall. i hate seeing yobbo's in their shitty corsas and astras. i hate being stucky behind shitty astra estates and shitty vivaros. i hate being tailgated by rep boys in shitty insignias
there's something about their ugly cars that gets to me. i think that if you need to get yourself around and you are going to buy yourself a car, why not make the experience of driving a pleasurable one and get something non-shit. it's like people choose to make themselves miserable. you don't drive a vauxhall out of desire, you drive one out of necessity. it's the box of shit you get because it's what you deserve
nothing fun, exciting, vibrant, dynamic, new, creative, hopeful, or beneficial in any way to humanity has ever been done, thought of, or driven to in those drab, dreary willfully awful piles of misery

You talking about the H gen, or all Opel/Vauxhalls?
Cant say that i agree with you, if its "all" Vauxhalls..
The Astra 1.6 turbo top spec has a 0-60 of 6.6 seconds, I bet your bus pass can't do that.
>>16529445
why do brits hate the vauxhalls so much yet love ford at the same time?
>>16529498
Because fords dont burst into flames
>>16529481
f/g/h
cancer of the road
>>16529445
Totally with you. Fuck Vauxhalls. The newest gen ones are more acceptable tho.
>>16529445
They are common because they are pretty good cars and are still going on strong while other small cars of the same age are already crushed.
Also CDX trim has 5/5 comfy interior.
Also #2, if they are not called Opels in your country, it means you and your country suck.

is this a kind disguised gm hate tread ?
>>16529524
So, a car not catching fire randomly is enough reason for the brand to become national favorite?
Isnt vauxhall just GM?

nah half the thread are manual vs auto shitposting
or people asking for their ideal DD sports car which ends up being a BRZ/gt86 with a supercharger
>>16529445
While I can agree that 90's Vauxhalls/Opels are mainly horrible pieces of misery, their recent models look fucking great.
Tata, Proton, Dacia, and even Hyundai are fucking abominations that can't even hold a candle to Opel's most shitty embarrassments.

2.0 EcoBoost engine in dad's 2012 Mondeo crapped out at ~56k miles. First Ford he has privately owned and will probably be the last.
>>16529445
Yeah, I hate Jeep. It's such a stupid design that serves no utility. It looks retarded, has a high center of gravity, and literally gets beat by F150s. Fuck man Jeep owners are complete retards lol i seriously have to pry myself off the floor laughing whenever i see one of those fuckers in the parking lot at the grocery store

Thy is that shitbox is a plastic bubble?
Cars I automatically hate:
Ford "hot hatches" Fiesta, Focus, etc
Lexus SC300/400
Subaru WRX
350Z/370Z
Hyundai/Kia
I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them now. None of these cars need to exist.
>>16530138
I hate the jeepfags on /o/. I always see them asking around for manual jeeps, but even retards know you want an automatic for offroading.
VW.
Almost always driven by an attractive girl that's clearly driving it because status of muh German
Or a less attractive version of this guy

This. If you see a lot of a particular car that's old then you can bet your life it's a good car.
Low-luxury brands like Lexus, Acura, Buick, Audi...
The car is never built better, they're just rebadged and packed with useless creature comforts that could only entertain a young child
>>16530049
baka don't downtalk Asian cars like that.
I wish I could get a Tata or Proton here in the US. Suzukis are thin enough already.
>>16531451
Or Cadillac or Lincoln.

people buy Opels because they want a boring daily driver. They make good economical petrol engines that can last long if looked after. I can't speak for the Diesels though you buy them if you want something cheap and reliable.
