When I was growing up, I always saw plenty of cars from the eighties and nineties. being used and abused like all our cars. Especially old British makes like Rover, Austin and Triumph.

The ol' Austin Metro and its Rover successor was a common car, a simple supermini that your granny bought and kept parking it in the hedge. Nowadays? Nah. I have seen 2 in the last four years.
