Volvo v40 questions thread
Average reliability, above-average part prices and expensive dealership repair cost
Good car if well kept and you do most of the work yourself
Because they're fucking pieces of shit, with the added bonus of swedish engineering, just as bad as germans. I had to take off the side motor mount, accessory belts, timing cover, timing belt and timing gear sprocket just to remove the fucking LEAKING valve cover on a 2000 Volvo S40!
Boring bland Swedish design powered by a POS ford engine.

>swedish engineering,
Ford with a bodykit.
boring, cramped cars with shit interiors and materials
Holy shit. I thought /o/ loves Volvo wagons?
>>16516818
So pretty much get it if you love to tinker w shit?
>>16516908
/o/ likes turbo bricks, in general. I got an s40 for my first car and as much as I loved it at the time, it just isn't the same as my 945.
>>16516796
OK. What are some of the good things about these cars?
>>16517123
Explain why please. I need a nice wagon and I have no idea what to go with :(
>>16516930
If by tinker you mean spend hours in pain trying to fix something that could be simpler, then yeah
>>16517246
Good volvo wagons would be, 945, 850R or 850, 745, and 245. Best volvos

Good for you for using that filter. You will enjoy many nights of good sleep. Fuck blue light.
Because it's the current year and they are 20 year old shitboxes.
It's like buying this in 2000
repair costs are off the charts and they're not very reliable
