My shop is NOT a dealership, we have a Bosch Mastertech that came with generic software, then you purchase OE software for all manufacturers (i.e. Honda, GM, BMW) and it costs a small fortune.

I changed the Control arm bushings on your "best car ever" and rusty water started pouring out of the bolt holes in the boxed out portions of the uni body frame. I've recently been looking at new cars and have been generally disappointed across the board, this is mostly with respects to build quality and materials.
I looked at a m135i, m235i, and m140i.
I found myself in a neat cabin that was typically BMW reserved, I however was not happy with the use of materials. The sunvisors are cheap and flimsy, the door cards were hard plastics that I would expect in something Malaysian, seats were good. Centre console and door trims had much hard and non premium looking plastics. They do look fantastic from the outside. For a comparison I looked at the M2. Much of the same with spatters of Alcantara (makes everything better).

I then went and looked at an Audi S3, S1, RS3. The insides of these seemed as a whole better. Especially the RS3. The outside is not personally appealing though.

Then looked at a Volvo S60 T6 r design polestar.
Well, that was a quality build. Everything was put together really well, materials were good everything felt premium. Again the outside isn't to my taste.
Looked at a Lexus RC f. Again really felt well made, materials were good. Great cabin.not what I'm looking for though.
Went and looked at an A45 AMG and c250. Jesus, WTF. The roof liners are cheap scratchy material, the massive use of God aweful black plastics. I just don't even know anymore .

These auto makers need to stop cashing in on their badge and get back to making quality cars.
