I'm looking to buy a new car in a few months and I'm thinking of purchasing the BMW M4. I would get the Mustang GT350 but it doesn't come in automatic. Is there any other good sports car options for under 100k or just hitting 100k?
>>

>>16506489
The BMW M4 has identical performance to the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, which is about half the price.
Dump the extra 40k into the Camaro and watch it blitz supercars on tracks.

911 is the best overall car.
z06 will be the fastest.
m4 is sorta the middle ground between z06 and the 911, i.e better materials but not as nice as the porsche while not as fast as the z06.

>The M4 has amazing technology inside that the camaro doesn't have.
No it doesn't. There is nothing the M4 has the Camaro doesn't. You even get magnetic suspension on the Camaro as standard on the 2SS. Meanwhile it is an extra cost option on the BMW. With the BMW, what you're paying for isn't the performance, but the bragging rights of the BMW badge. BMW lost their way YEARS ago, with many BMW fans saying the last good BMW was the E46 M3.
If you REALLY thing the price difference is justified, you're stupider than I though. Well, I guess money can't buy intelligence or common sense.

If you wait, the 2018 Mustang will have eben more stock power, magnetic suspension, and some other goodies.

An AWD 911 will drive circles around a mustang in snow. The trick is to downsize the wheels from 295/30-19 to 265/40-18. The 295s tend to "float" over snow, while a thinner wheel will dig through the snow.

>asking 4chan

Well, if somebody really was gonna spend 100 grand, the fastest things would be ACR snek, Z06 corvette, and in the cheaper price range would be gt350r, zl1, z28, even the SS or GT.

Something like a FI GT would be a really fun toy, especially with that kind of money. Twin turbos would be the way to go with auto. You could run over 600whp til ya melt a piston or some shit.

Then you could rebuild for low compression forged pistons, and make a fuck ton of power on pump 93. Or go for 10:1 and run e85, combined with cnc port on the heads, cams, mild or no stroker, i think that could net over 1000hp.

Cams will be 1200, cnc port is 300, rebuilding with stainless valves is another couple hundred, bottom end for 2k or just pistons might suffice. Twins for 6k. With the right shop everything should be under 15 grand after labor, plus cost of the car, which is about 34k.
>>
>>16517824
>sports cars aren't supposed to be fast
>>
>>16517953
Who said that you drooling mongrel?
What differentiates sports cars from drag spec cars is their fun factor, apart from like 500hp. An auto negates most of the driver engagement and control so it doesnt fucking matter how fast you're going.

Besides, it's like a 0.5 second difference at MOST. Is that worth more than the fun you could be having with that car?
>>
>>16517984
>.5 second difference to 60 is not a big deal

>>
>>16518012
just gonna add my 2 cents: in actual street driving going from 0-60 is pretty much never and because he wants an auto, my guess is he wants a daily. I would probably get the Z06 or GT350 with a manual but if that's not his cup of tea then whatever. Also auto guy don't be a benchracer you'll never be as good as a pro driver so it won't make much difference between auto and manual for you unless you don't know how to drive a manual.
