So me and a couple of friends are thinking of purchasing a $400 jalopy together to have fun and do shit that we wouldn't even dream of doing in our normal personal cars (think firearms and drugs plus a little bit of hoonin').
Has anyone done this before? And if so, is this 5spd manual Pontiac Sunfire worth the $400?

I'm trying to convince my friends to do something like this. We love to go drive around at night and get hektik in the deserted area, but they all have boring cars and I'm too worried to beat the shit out of mine.
I just want to get something I can slam the fuck out of and do all the horrible things to jokingly and just beat the absolute shit out of. I also want to be able to throw sparks and shoot flames out the exhaust. Any ideas?
I'm thinking either the rattiest manual car I can find or a mini truck and pile all my buddies in the back of it.
