Those 911s had radiators to cool their oil, so they're really oil-cooled
And the 993 Turbo is straight up water cooled, well before the 996

Anything air cooled usually has a seperate oil cooler, and everything oil cooled usually has a substantial amount of cooling caused by air.

The proper term is air/oil-cooled.

Well considering two brands had air cooled engines in the rear for over 50 years, I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, it isn't a problem
