There is some rust on the underside. Im going to have this fixed by a pro. i dont give a shit if it costs half the car worth.

Usual routine calls for wash, clay then wipe or wash again, polish, seal, then wax. Fresh paint requires 48 hours to begin sanding/polishing, and at least a month before waxing.

Forgot to add that there are specific waxes that can be applied to fresh paint. But normal waxes cannot be applied.

ChrisFix's method does work, no doubt. But a lot of it is formality or untrue (Dawn has been shown NOT to strip wax, for instance).
Might get shit for this, but r/AutoDetailing does have some pretty good guides to follow and kits to buy.
