>Do people drive Australian cars in America ?
pfft. i wish i could get an aussie ute.
Besides the ones that were sold there, not really.
There's one or two companies that import ute and wagon bodies then merge them with wrecks of said locally sold models.
And there's a handful of private imports, most being Mad Max related.

You mean Chevrolet?

Holden as a brand was never used in America, there wasn't much point as GM already had Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick etc which had way more market prescence.
Some of their products (Monaro, Commodore SS) were sold under the Pontiac and Chevrolet brands but they were rivals for GM's own models so were never given as much attention as they deserved.
Utes (and by extension, light pickups) are outlawed by the government because of the chicken tax and don't fit in with current CAFE standards even if they weren't.
Protectionalism killed any chance Holden had desu.
Theres a black holden that runs around southern Indiana but I dont know what model
this sold in AZ a few months back, technically south african but its a strayan design
