I'm looking at buying a used Ferrari 360, and the only question is what kind of transmission I'll opt for. The manuals are rarer, and more expensive (anywhere from $10K-$15K, from what I understand). The F1's are a lot more common and cheaper, but I've heard they were rushed to market and may be prone to mechanical issues.

Which would you pick?

I do prefer having things like electric starters and automatic timing control instead of hand crank to start or a timing stalk on the steering wheel, but having a manual transmission gives the driver greater control of the car that a slushbox cannot replicate without being an expensive and extremely complicated dual clutch auto.
