The Stealth was sold from 1991 until 1996 and killed off. The 3000GT was sold in America through Mitsubishi from 1991 until 1999, though 1999 models are uber-rare.
So it was sold under 2 different names in America.
The Stealth was actually part of a small controversy stateside. Enthusiasts threw their arms up in the air in protest when a Dodge Stealth was the pace car for the 1991 Indianapolis 500. The controversy was over the Stealth being built in Japan, the first such car to ever pace the iconic American race.
