new texas black and white plates look great on any car of any color.

newer PA plates without the fade look pretty decent.

old NY plates look great. new NY are shit. NJ piss plates even shittier.

IA/IL plates are okay.

Cali plates are good but not great. I always hated the California script at the top.

The width-height ratio on the US plates bother me. Yuropean plates are rather plain and boring, but I preffer them shape-wise.

Shame black plates aren't a thing anymore.

Clearly not because the first time Colorado had mountains on the plate was in 1960 and the first time Vermont had the white frame was in 1985. Also Colorado switched the colors and the mountains from top to bottom a couple times, and the current format with white mountains looks even better.
