E Series with a 5 speed is pretty mint but theres all sorts of performance 4 bangers that make the same power as them (mazda 3s, civics, wrxs) etc. BA/BF barra engines are thirsty but can be very quick, really hard to find in manual and even then the boxes are made of glass.

I do this as well but with out slowing down. Usually folks fly up my ass doing 5 over while im in the right lane (usa) and had all the time in the world to change lanes and over take. I just wait for them to change lanes and slowly increase my speed makin so they have to go 10 or 15 over the speed limit to over take me in a quick manner. How giant are you? CJ Lancer in VRX variant is pretty nice but 5 speed is gay, 6 speed masterrace.

Mazda 3s are alright but the people behind you will hate you if you are too tall.

E series falcon is good, big and comfy, can find them for $500, you can find manual swap kits for $1000 or buy one in manual. Finding one in fairmont/fairlane trim would be your best bet. LPG too if you care about them fuel costs.

Ultimately depends on your budget. Commos are trash don't even consider, Massive boats that handle like shit, falcons can handle well stock.

Just more caution, remember that right of way doesn't mean you're safe. For example when a light turns green, just look across the intersection to make sure there isn't a cunt running a red light. When someone comes from a side street to turn onto a main road and theres a small gap, just hover your foot over the brake until you're certain they wont go. Its just simple things like that that can make the difference between an accident and a close call or a fatality and a minor injury. Other people will make mistakes or drive like dickheads so its best to make space for them instead of having an accident just because you have the right of way.
