if you have trouble with yours you should try doing contour cuts with a regular plotter it's a serious pain in the ass, to the point people design machines that take away that pain by being a printer/plotter combo.

with your bn-20 though it should be a relative walk in the park, just do a small outer bleed.

My method is to make an outline
put it in 2 layers one above and one below the image
the top layer is what tells the printer to cut
the bottom layer is a 5 pixel or so bleed line so when it cuts it doesn't leave white space

if I didn't use my ridiculous pigment print system with special materials, and instead had a 24 inch solvent printer that could print on fucking anything, then it'd become viable.

but when your total print width is under 12 inches wide and every clip of expensive material is expensive waste product, it quickly becomes impractical to have those 2 inch borders on each side
