Try find this on a 40k Lexus.

That metal looking shitty strips running from the top of the dash to the bottom is the most un-inspired shit you'll ever see.

Also that circled thing.

It's a 60k+ car

Reliable? Yes. Typical GM interior? Yes.

Apparently stitching quality = reliability for some reason though
>>
Every time I see a "should I buy this used Cadillac" thread in /o/. The car has an horrible depreciation.

Really tells you about the quality of these cars.

That's true for any luxury car. You can buy a 5 year old S63 for the price of an Accord
>>
>>16400798
No, it isn't

Lexus doesn't suffer that awful depreciation because they are actually well engineered.

Some Mercedes models depreciated moderately and some AMG models may have poor performance, but still not as bad as GM.

Cadillacs are the ones that depreciate the most, they also tend to have worse records for reliability and overall quality.

That's why you can pick up an old LS for like $500 on Craigslist, right?
>>
>>16400827
Yeah a 1990s one. Try finding a nice 2005+ model for under 15k.
>>
>>16400827
>stupid faggot ruins an old car and then tries to sell it for the most he can get

Wow dude, you sure showed me with that cherry picking.

These GM shills are getting desperate

Really makes you think, huh?

I haven't been impressed with the leather on most vehicles, regardless of manufacturer, until you start to get around the $100k range.

I own a 14 ATS, I wouldnt call it reliable.

Have had oil pan replaced due to leaks, timing rod replaced as it was bent, and the CUE screen cracked by itself.
Additionally, its making a buzzing noise in the engine now under acceleration but I am too lazy to take it to the dealership.

Also there are several defects in the interior as noted at the top of the thread but my car only cost 36k so I dont think its a huge deal. Might be trading it in on a new e350 soon.

On the other hand, if you do a little wrenching, a used one is a great value. Car handles like a dream and rides fairly nice. If it didnt have all these odd mechanical issues I would love it so much more.
>>
>>16401520
How do you like the CUE system? That's the only thing that stops me from buying a new Cadillac.
>>
>>16400564
No but they are great otherwise.
>>
>>16401627
I dont have a problem with it, people always complain about it being confusing but they are just technically inept boomers.

Touch buttons get a little annoying but I just use the steering wheel controls. Adjusting the temperature is the only real inconvenience from the CUE system for me.
