In which I'll have all(or almost all) of the below things.
>fun
>reliability (I can afford both but if the M2 is good enough, I'll leave the GTR)
>daily usability
>practicality (space)
and I don't care about head turning or lap times and shit.
M2
R35 looks like arse.
M2 is one of the better recent BMWs.
According to Google the M2 has a larger trunk volume despite being a good bit smaller than the GT-R. Honestly I wouldn't want to daily drive a car the size of a GT-R where I live. It's huuuge.
M2 has more potential to be a highly sought-after classic. Also not a weeb car.
They are in two wholly different price ranges, that said the M2 is far more practical, although the GTR is very usuable.
Hell, both are 100x more practical than my DD.
Drive both, decide if giving up a manual is worth it. Also RWD vs AWD. Really a personal choice at this point.

GTR is a little dull. The M2 is considered one of the best Ms in recent years so that's probably the better choice.

m2 is just another bmw.
GTR is the new skyline. It's been hyped to no end, it's confirmed classic.

M2 all day.
I don't know about the reliabilty on those but I've heard that 2 series BMWs does have low maintenance since it don't have the heavy tech and stuff like it's more expensive models.
Other than this, it checks all of your boxes.
