all my cats have been indoor outdoor, it's not a full life if not

i mean yeah you can't just chuck an indoor cat outside and expect them to be OK, but god my cat loved the outside, rolling in the dirt, eating baby bunnies, fighting occasionally. I've bought all my houses with full consideration of my cat's safety (no major roads, try to stay clear of dogs)

for a year we lived in tucson and it was hard on her because of rattlesnakes I couldn't let her out unsupervised, then we move up here and I catch her taking on a full 7' bullsnake (who was just like "I don't fucking need this shit") and obviously my cat realized she had gotten in over her head by that point...

anyway it's a good life and even if they disappear sometimes you know they can handle themselves and where home is... I can't imagine an indoor only cat slipping out but if my cat slipped out it was an inconvenience at best.

even better she traveled with us in the van, moab, oregon, indiana more than once, and she drove with us twice moving across the country.

Were getting kinda /an/ up in here but it completely depends on the cat. Our cat was a street cat that was taken in. He was absolutely awful at being a street cat, skinny, clumsy, etc. I know not all cats are the same but, I'd wager most cats aren't badasses who kill snakes.
I'm trying to train him to be in a harness so he can sunbathe and eat grass like he likes buuut he honestly panics when hes outside.
Cats do fine just being indoors as long as they have plenty of stimulation and places to climb/scratch.

Equipment + shirts + materials = $600 for heat transfer, assuming you already have a cutter. We're talking two color wat logo or something, although the print and transfer paper is way better than what you grew up with so an /o/ themed slap wouldn't be awful.

Make it $14a shirt and the o tists might even buy them. Order and produce shirts weekly in only the sizes colors and designs offered and you won't eat any overhead except the press.

When I put stickers on either my helmet, bike, or a model kit, I start up by wetting the surface a little with warm water it allows you to slightly move the sticker when applying it, and I start on one side which is usually top to bottom, stretching it up with hairdryer or a warm cloth helps but don't overdo it, the key is to do it patiently and slowly.
Th-thats how I do it, dunno though.

I wrapped my bike with transparent vinyls before and uneven complex surfaces can be dealt by stretching the vinyls by warming them up, heck I even used lighter instead of hairdryer. Shady application, but kinda satisfied because there's no bubbles at all.
The bigger the sticker, the harder it is I guess.

i generally recommend people to not do shirts due to the colour and size issues of keeping stock around, the time sink of production, and the general pain in the ass that dealing with heat presses and htv.
but if you have enough room for a few racks, and the heat press you really should have been doing this since you bought the thing, and I thought you would have been selling to locals at least.

By investment I meant actually buying the tools to do it yourself, the person I worked for managed to get his whole starting setup for ~$1,500 off CL/ebay and slowly bought better equipment with the money he earned. It doesn't even take up that much room we had it all setup in a 1 car garage.

screen printing is a lot cheaper and easier to do than htv, though messier, and allows more flexibility than diecut htv.
htv, especially printable htv like inb4 is talking about, is much more flexible on a per shirt basis as you don't need to deal with the screens themselves.
when it comes to screen printing you can break into it with a stack of shirts and 20 dollars of equipment, best choice for mass produced simple designs, like a white shirt with "WAT Racing" on it would be a perfect example.
only issue with screen printing is you need lots of space to allow drying.

a basement without a dehumidifier for example is a terrible location for shirt racks, they absorb moisture and grow mildew or worse black mold between the shirts. (most other storage methods arent any better for this either, but the racks allow them to breath a bit opposed to getting musty)
the shirts need to be as clean as possible for best results, which is the reason I only allow unused and unwashed shirts through my heat press. (detergent is especially bad for adhesion)

stocking large amounts of limited colours is what keeps your overhead down, not buying individual blank shirts.

I have a clamshell style but it's easy to burn yourself on due to where it's been sat (too high desu, gotta consider that the top of the plates get hot too)

swing style ones might be a good option even if you're getting a good amount of space freed up.

something else to mention about heat presses, is the coil orientation.
mine has a spiral like an @ symbol, so some areas, specially the corners of the plate, don't heat up as well.
other models have rows of coils instead, which heat more evenly.

the one i have is 20x16 inches, very very large, far more than someone needs.
Honestly I'd rather have a smaller one, the larger stuff I've done like banners for parades had to be done with an iron regardless of owning the larger press.

There is a slight tint on my rear window where I will be putting my first sticker on. If I put the sticker on the tint, will it damage it if I take the sticker off? Should I just put the sticker on the outside of the window instead?
