For the F1, the stick shift is on the right so it driving dynamics are more similar to a LHD acknowledging the superior setup despite the car being from an RHD country.

The very best supercars are the ones that get remembered. Besides the transmission in the racecar, it was still very much the same old F1 GTR underneath that has been racing for a couple of seasons already which meant that it still had the high canopy of the original F1 roadcar (because it was using the same chassis) making the '97 F1 GTR still much taller than the new breed of purpose-built GT1 cars like the Porsche and the Mercedes.

This isn't even counting all the manufacturing, transport, sales, media, etc. from before the car was sold, and with small run cars like this a good portion of them are used for press/show before sale.
