I have replaced, repaired, fiddled with or modified nearly every mechanical component on this car in my four years of ownership. I recently completed a first-of-its-kind engine swap in this car (LX9 3.5L V6 in place of the 3.1). There was much research, trial-and-error, and GM Legos necessary, but I've put 3k miles on it and it runs well. With this one simple trick I shaved 3/4 of a second off my 1/4 mile ET.

This car is custom. 1 of 1. Yeah, it looks just like grandpa's. That's the point.

I just started driving a manual thanks to /o/. It's been about a month and so far I have overcome most of the major hurdles. I can start without rolling back. I can do low speed stuff like drive thrus, traffic, etc.

As much I liked to pretend I know a lot about cars I just know more than 90 percent of people. Which is mainly because everything I've owned has atleast one issue that needed fixing and I've been too much of a stingey cunt to pay a nechanic to fix it.

A lot of people think my 96 wrx is a hectic fast car but it is literally the biggest shitbox I've owned. Chassis damage, bog, steering rack is leaking, rack ends are fucked, wheel bearings, brake discs, coolant reservoir is from the wrong model and just flops around, leaks oil, no Ac, retarded paint, rear shocks are fucked, engine mounts are fucked, timing belt due, oil leaks everywhere, literally every bushing needs to be changed including the shifter, and the retarded pod filter flapping around the engine bay like a limp dick
