On an actual competitive drift car built with a budget of more than $35 and a crisp hi-5, they tube the front, remove the wheel tubs, and then fit flares for huge steering angle with big ass front wheels.

To tub the front of a car: I'd only suggest doing it to a track car. Not worth it for anything else.
Relatively cheap as its a track car so you can remove the offending sheet metal without adding anything else.

The rear is usually a different deal.
Only really done on live axle drag cars, the quick way is to remove as much sheet metal as you can then weld in pre-made tubs.
The limiting factor becomes the spring mounts for the rear axle. You can only go so far before having to move them.
Hence why the quick way is sheet metal only. Also doesn't need an engineer's certificate.

The long way is to move the springs so you can shorten the axle and fit big slicks under it. Expensive, can be street legal as long as you're not a hackjob fabricator but does need an engineer's certificate.

Yes. Forwards grip on a drift car is essential (yes really) but even Formula D is not quite running out of grip with the 275 slicks or whatever is the most common one they use.

Tubbing rears on a IRS isn't a thing. Doesn't happen. The amount of shit you'd have to change and re-engineer is massive, and if you're that serious about drag racing you just fab a 4-link live rear axle setup instead as that offers far more grip than IRS under a hard launch.
IRS obviously has dynamic geometry, as in camber and toe changes when the suspension is compressed or not. Live rear does not have those things, so when you have a hard squat for launch it stays at 0 camber for maximum grip

And there will be no active agent in your spit if you havent smoked within the last 4-12 hours (depending on how much) and cleaned your mouth proper and shit. Thats why they test your spit for something that can typically only be detected while you are high, and then piss test to make sure it wasnt a false reading.

All sorts of dodgy shit going on though, both front indicator housings want to just fall off, stereo wire is a dodgy as thin wire half bent and munted running straight from the battery and directly under the Pod filter, really noticeable difference when I turn the aircon off, the engine suddenly gains 10hp, needs an oil top up every week but at least the water pump bearing is fine for now.

Original gear knob is in the glovebox, gonna swap it over this weekend. Speaker wire is from the dumb cunt who put it in thinking the door closing on it constantly won't affect anything, front right speaker doesn't work accordingly. Speakers are so shithouse so have no idea why they bought a new headunit if it wasn't just for the USB playback. I really hope they were stock speakers because my $20 Fusion reactor component kit from Repco sounds literally 1000x better in the VT and that was with disabling the rear speakers.
