We have a vanlife thread that is almost a general at this point. Lots of people here enjoy talking about modifiying vans. Personally ive got my eye on my grandpas old dodge conversion van. Its in great shape except for it never gets driven.

A big problem is staying in places. Sure there are a lot of camping parks and such but some have restriction on the type of vehicle, and you have to pull a lot of money from your pocket if you don't want to stay in the shittiest places, such as near gypsies camps or waste disposals.
And you get to be near caravaners. Which you don't want to happen as long as you can avoid it.
