That's a limitation of low torque ffb wheels: when the wheel gains high speed, the motor can't put enough torque to stop it immediately.
You can't do much, try to lower in game ffb % while giving more % to the force in the control panel so the wheel won't gain much speed from in game calculations and the motor will be able to use all the power set up in the control panel (remember that for most commercial wheels, 80% and 100% give circa the same max output torque, what changes is the linearity).

I dont' see the appeal of mixing GT with BTCC.
The action is completely different.
BTCC allows for contact, more compact racing in short circuits.
GT calls for less contact, higher speed circuits.

For a sort of mix of both, but without the inconvenience of running different shit, instead of mixing the series, just go for DTM, or even V8s.

We've been racing GTs almost every "season" too, something not GT would be fun. The AE86s seemed like fun for example.

I get the idea, but I feel that if someone joins with the Civic and then finds out he's the only one using it or he heavily outpaces the few other Civics in the grid that this person will either switch to the GTR or leave the server entirely, at which point there might as well only be one choice.
Though pretty unlikely, it could even happen the other way around. Many people deciding to drive the Civic for whatever reason and the GTR being lonely/bored which would probably lead to either changing cars or leaving the server.

We'd split off in 4 man teams, 3 of which are "bodyguards" and their goal is to make their other car, the "VIP", be the first amongst the other VIPs in the race. Of course, as you might imagine, crashing is more than allowed, its encouraged.

However VIPs cannot crash each other, they have to race fairly amongst themselves. VIPs can crash Bodyguards though.

As for now, it is possible to copy the rf2 folder, delete every installed content and have a 600mb working copy. I had to remove all the files from the workshop folder in steam otherwise it would try to reinstall all of them. Both copies work as intended.

Anyway. It is true that RF2 doesn't really have a lot of stuff to work with that we haven't done already. I took a look in the in the workshop, and I found something called the "Simco TCR Series". I haven't tried it, but it looks nice enough, it's getting updated and can be used as the lower class, if you're that itchy for MC. For the big boys there are the V8 supercars(although I think all the cars have the same physics from what I remember, unless it was only for the league the guys ran back in the day) or the DTM turds. If were gonna do it, we might as well do some decent memes.

Even GT1 was more succesful than all three and starking was organising that one. But please, do tell me I am a shitposting autist that doesnt want to race with others at all, even though I want to have decent discussion, instead of just spouting memes.

It's hard to nail all three. Some sacrifice is needed. The V6 meganes are nice enough for an example. Somewhat light, a bit tricky since they are midship, but also fun to drive.

The reason why ovgt1 was popular was because of the novelty of it, it was new, and said I say, the golden age of Ovg, where drama was kept at a minimum, and people showed up to test their skill among other from 4chan.

Once the still gap was apparent people started taking stuff more seriously, like ovgt3, where, if I recall, the wasn't any post-race thread that want filled with complaints and drama. Lost where the days where we would just laugh about it, rather than take sides and fight among each other. People get tired of that.

And thus, participation has been going down ever since, but people have to see also that most of us were in school (or meets), we had free time to mess around with this, now most of us have become normies, and I say that I the best of terms, and so, not having enough time to mess with ovg.

I prefer driving from a wheel but sometimes I like just hooking my PC up to the TV and playing from the couch and of course at this point I have to use a gamepad.
Problem with a gamepad of course is there is no physical feedback besides rumble of the whole damn gamepad.

TLDR: Does a gamepad exist with a force feedback joystick. Interface doesn't matter, it could be old as shit with a 15pin dsub connector.

There are several joysticks for flight sims that have FFB. It can be a viable option if you just stick it between your legs when in front of the couch.

But I don't know of any pads with FFB. It probably is a rather tricky thing to accomplish.
