It depends, What year your car is? Is it Diesel or Petrol? Is it turbo charged or no? does it have Carburetor or "elecronic" injection and also on how many Litters you poured into the vehicle.
Anyway first example -> Diesel into petrol, I used to have an 1999 Škoda Octavia 1.6Litter, no turbo, petrol, and once I borrowed my car to my mother, she poured Diesel into the car instead of N95, it ran well but ALOT of black smoke was comming outta exhaust pipe and it is fucking up abit your catalyst.
Secound example petrol into diesel vehicle.
Well this kind of thing happend to my GF's mother, she used to drive alot with petrol powered car, and suddenly she's bought a diesel (Focus 2.0 Tdci), she poured petrol into the tank by an accident, after like a 20 meters or so car broke down and they had to pull it to the car fix using a rope.
