Can anyone help me out?
I had a shit mechanic look at my e-brake when I had him do some other work because the e brake didnt work when I bought the car and I haven't gotten around to replacing the line. He said he didn't think it seized, but said it had a ton of slack. Previously it was super easy to pull, but he decided to tighten it up a bunch and see what would happen. Now it can't be pulled up all the way and the light for it on my dash is always on. Should I just buy a new line since they're cheap or does it sound like something else? I have a remedial understanding when it comes to brake systems so forgive me for being retarded.
