Sup /o/ so i have a 1999 honda accord shitbox with 163k miles
Anyway its oil change is due and its always been fed conventional oil
when i was shoppin for the oil i found mobil 1 conventional was like $20dollars, and full syntethic mobil 1 was like 13 bucks
should I just buy the syntethic and let it run for like 6k miles intead of 3k? will i damage anything?

I switched to synthetic and for over a decade just changed the oil once a year (usually about 6k). No problems. I did it in the Spring just in case since I do a lot of short trips and it doesn't always heat up all the way in the Winter, leading to an increase in the amount of moisture the oil will have to absorb.
