God damnit Cletus, other people have to bear with the sight of your front yard out of their windows!
If you want to tow anything with it it needs a transmission cooler if its automatic. My family owned 2. They are decent vans the only real issues we had were the rear seat control pannel quit working, the rear wiper motor went out, and the rear door struts had to be replaced. The panels went out on both of them the wiper on one and the door struts on both of them. They survived 10 years of boy scout trips so thats pretty good.
Terminal virginity
My dad had one for years, it was a damn good van. I believe ours was a '91 or '92 Eddie Bauer. Rear seats laid down flat to make a fairly comfy bed, good for overnight camping trips. The 4 wheel drive was pretty useful here in NJ in the winter and it did a pretty good job of hauling a cannon around. We asked a lot of our Aerostar and it never really gave us a problem. From a mechanical standpoint only thing I've heard complaints about is into have the V6 there's one spark plug on the back that's a real pain to replace.
