Used a Sportsman 570 for a lot of the summer

We might be getting one (or similar) for my local Red Cross, as we're planning on selling our two snowmobiles and buy a newer one, and also perhaps an ATV

Yup. Our numbers are currently so low that there is never really need for two snowmobiles. Its pretty much only me and one other guy, but he has two kids so his time and availability is limited

Still, we do have a need for an ATV even if 9/10 search missions in my district are during the winter

Get snow chains or even tread units for it and it should perform roughly as well as a snowmobile even in the winter in most weathers. That might be out of your budget, though.

Man, I see these guys and I'm equally jealous and thankful I'm not there. That's probably some of the worst conditions you could put an ATV through.

Can confirm, 2 of my friends had 400ex's. One was like 250 lbs full of muscle I shit you not, and suspension was getting fucked but still held up. The other one ripped a lot and the damn thing didn't quit.
