So there's a first gen Celica GT that has been sitting in the parking lot by where I work for at least a year unmoved. I don't know the year or much about old Toyotas at all, but was thinking of finding out who owns it and offering him $100 to take it off his hands. Is this a good idea? It most likely doesn't run and I'm not sure what goes into these things desu.

Sorry for rotated pic, quickly took it on my phone and am mobile posting.
If the owner is smart they'll laugh in your face.

>100 for first gen Celica
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You're the reason why boomers know what they got.
>>16298455
>offering him $100
>for a ta22
make sure you film it so we can watch you get laughed at or beaten for such a stupid offer
>>16298553
Well it's rotting away in a parking lot, I have to imagine they don't want it/don't have plans for it.
>>16298571
I'd rather let my classic rot than give it to some weeb cuck for $100 dollarydoos.
>>16298560
What's a fair price for it then? It's a piece of shit. Interior is falling apart and the hood is rusted out. As I said before I know nothing about these so not sure what the roast is for.
>>16298571
No, they have plans for it. The owner knows fully where it is and what he wants for it, but under his circumstances he's forced to park it where it is
Dont offer $100. You either sound like a retard or a child who can't afford anymore than that for a super kewl car he's totally not using.

Its a first gen celica, its one of the most desirable models toyota made in the 1970's. Supply and demand has skyrocketed the prices and it no longer matters if its hood is rusted or its interior is shagged, its worth at a minimum 1500 bucks
>>16298598
Ok, fair enough. Like I said I don't know anything about them so
>>16298459
that's pretty fucking sharp for a phone pic, what phone?
>>16298702
iPhone SE.
I own an RA28 which could sell for $13k, Registered first gen celicas in australia are worth almost $8k and up
>>16299171
Fugggggg does it even have doors? Aussie prices are fucked though.
>>16299192
bought this one for $4k with two engines, dashboard uncracked. Doors were very rusted but repairable, ended up buying earlier model doors because lighter
Another pic of the celica
