The car had been listed for a long time, and was out in a rural area. Nobody would ever buy a weak-ass convertible out in the sticks.

I asked about pricing, considering it had a pretty weak engine and no storage.
He said price was non-negotiable at 13k, no less. I thanked him for his time and said it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
He asked what I'm after, and I said I'm off to look at a bunch of 350z for the same price.
He then asked what kind of price a sale would be.
I said 11k, he agreed
