I am trying to bring a car into the country. I'm talking about a car that isn't quite roadworthy (otherwise I'd just drive it all the way back from Germany). Anyone know how much can cost bringing it by trailer between EU-member countries?

Depends on where you live brer.
Depending on how anal your country is on paperworks and regulations, you might have to pull a lot from your own pocket to get the car registered once you've fixed it.
Other than this, no import tax per-say, that's the whole point of Shengen.
Main expense would be renting a trailer or hire one.
