Guys I have $ 3000, live on the east coast.
Need a reliable truck, something not terrible on gas like a v6 and is capable of hauling motorcycles and the occasional car.
A real man's commuter truck, I'm not going to put a lift on it and stand next to it jerking off in my driveway while sniffing diesel fumes and occasionally wincing at the glance of me in the chrome bumper's reflection.
No bro-trucks.
So what are my options?
Also no dakotas, I had an '87 what a fucking piece of shit.

s10 or ranger

Keeping my eye out for those, unfortunately only ones listed on CL right now are beat to diddly dick shit.
Or they are an inline 4 with 150k and the fucking geezer wants 4500 for it.

Why do you need a truck?

Picking up car parts and not getting trunk all dirty
Own and fix up motorcycles so it's useful to tow them without having to rent a dolly
Same with with cars
Need to commute with it though around 25 miles a day
If you toss out fuel efficiency old chevy square bodies are great. Otherwise s10/ranger like the other anon said. Maybe a 90s f150 with a 300.

don't get the 4.0 ranger... fuel economy is ass
