What should I add on to this to make it faster. Only thing it needs is an electronic ignition
>>16266292
get it faster by letting it go
so give it to me. ive been looking 4 a white one for under 4 grand for ever
>>16266308
This isn't actually mine in the pic but the one I have is the same body dif color. Block cracked in the original motor so a 69 one was put in. Looking to get it running again
get rid of ancient engine for something modern
strip out the interior
fiberglass
what motor is in it? auto or manual?
>>16266330
Auto unfortunately
>>16266343
its okay. im assuming its a a904 and not the 727. manual swaps are expensive if you cant find a donor car. what motor? 318, 360, or 340?
>>16266292
jet engine
>>16266368
its a 340 so im gonna have to work with what i got
>>16266385
340 is the best out of those 3 tho
just get an intake, 800cfm carb, headers, and intake
the stock cam is pretty good but of course you can always upgrade that too
>>16266385
340 can be a rocket. i dont know what the highest flowing head is for the 340. find those. get a lumpy cam. you might have to upgrade your vlve springs. get a bigger carb and better 4bbl intake. headers. aftermarket torque converter with a higher stall. you probably already have an 8 1/4 rear end or an 8 3/4 rear end. MOPAR stuff is expensive, but find a suregrip diff and throw some shorter gears in the rear. boom faster.
watch all the other episodes of this too

Modern Hemi.
Or LS1
>>16266964
This.
Carbureted engines are dinosaur fossils. You can get so much more out of a modern engine. Electronic ignition and GDI, a big cam and a tune and you'll have a carburetor killer that can demolish anything.
>>16266385
if its a legit 340 demon its a 727,
>>16266431
800cfm is a bit much for a stock displacement street sbc
>>16267283
>GDI
laugh at this fgt that doesn't know the difference between port and direct injection.
280* cam, high rise dual plane, headers and a 650 would wake it up. Go with a petronix kit and a MSD or other brand namme ignition box with a rev limiter. the oem chrysler ignition is problematic. I went 142 gps in a c body with a '68 LA 318, a 340 would be even better.

dude the stock 340 had a 850 from the factory
the lowest Id go is something like a 750 double pumper
>>16267390
I'm sorry, I didn't realize that Hemis still used port injection
>Chrysler, 30 years behind the curve with load bearing plastic parts to keep you coming back.
