Is a 1984 Chevrolet El Camino with a 350 v8 engine worth $5000. If not what price?
It's in well maintained condition with the three owners of the car all being of the same family. I'm going to have another person look at soon, but I wanted to hear /o/ opinion. What are the pros and cons of this car. What can I expect?
Pic related, but not the car.
El Camino general
What should I look out for when I go check out the car again?
itll be slow but as long is its all good aesthetically and mechanically I could see it being worth 5k
I had an '83 (305 tho) that was pretty nice
expect shit mpg but as long as its taken care of it wont be much of a problem
parts are cheap af
check for rust as thats going to be the major issue

Besides rust, what else would I have to be on top of?

I want one of these, the one with the Monte Carlo front end.
There is one for sale near where I live, same paint color and everything. The boomer wants 12k for it. Has trophies sitting in the front seat next to the for sale sign. literally "muh show car, custom edition, I know what i got!" bullshit. Been for sale for like 6 years.
The 80s elks are the most beanerific... I'd offer 3, maybe 4k if it's really nice condition.
