My yamaha had to have the tank pulls to even access the battery. Same with my XL to access the sparkplugs which was in the days of leaded gasoline so you had to access them fairly regularly.
>>
>>16250891
To be honest I agree with that general sentiment. For the most part, I think motorcycles are kind of stupid. The only redeeming element is the price:performance ratio when you're dealing with sport bikes. For $2000, you can get a machine that accelerates you from 0-180 in 20 seconds. That is pretty dope.

Only experience with XLs myself, sparks were fairly easy to get too (thats 2009 on my old sporty), didnt have to pull anything. Suzuki sparks on my bandit, have to pull the tank to get the mid 2... squeeze to get the outer two at best.

Never had to get at the battery on the bandit, but all I know was that my sporty cover was shit as fuck... clips didnt connect and I had to cable tie it up to stop it falling off lol

Shovels can be daily riders and are quite easy to maintain if you are a mechanic. They are far more reliable than their British contemporaries. I've worked and owned plenty of both. You'll be able to get parts for at least another century which is a nice thing about Harleys.

If you get one, remember to go with an oil cooler, tall final drive gearing, and low static compression ratio. You;ll thank me later.

If she's so overweight that sitting in the breeze makes her sweat rivers I don't want her and I don't want her on my bike.
If she's so vapid that maybe having to brush her hair again later is asking too much to enjoy the ride I don't want her and I don't want her on my bike.
If I'm somehow at the point in my life where I can only define myself and the enjoyment of my hobbies by what woman is with me at the time I think I'd rather be dead since my life would have long ago been meaningless anyway.

My calss was organizing some sort of show/dance with one of the popular song of that jolly hystorical period,
we would practice the moves all togheter on an improvised stage made of pallets and balsa wood or something of the like in the main all,
directed by the super hot blonde PT teacher.

We practiced for a good week, until the day of the show came.
All the parents gathered on the stand and the teachers finished setting the lights for the dance,
the lights went dark and my friends and I all took our spot on the stage in front of the teacher that would have guided us,
wich was pretty redundant for the song that we were about to dance at the rythm of spelled the moves you had to make in the lyrics.

The music starts, the room is dark, and the flashing lights jumps everywhere.
I'm in the middle of the stage, surrounded by the rest of the kids that are perfectly executing the moves as they learned,
shielded to eyes of the public by their clean posed moves and the darkness,
and I thought to myself "I can do whatever the fuck I want and they won't see it".

So I started dancing as I wanted, jumping around, shaking myself, enjoing the freedom it gave me,
until I realized that my parents could see me perfectly, as everybody else.
The rest of the parents were clapping and cheering, not my family.

They were pointing and laughing at me.
I stopped moving, walked off the stage and sat on the floor in the dark hid near the stands and cried.

I've never danced again.

Guys, why do I suck at coming to a stop and only having to put my foot down once? It almost always takes me 2-3 little steps before my foot is planted on the ground.

I use my right foot on the rear brake when stationary so I can give my right hand a break, plus I'm 5'4 so can only tippy-toe with both feet down, so don't bother suggesting to use both feet.

a lot of it has to do with your height.
Lean slightly one way as you come to a complete stop with your feet up, so the bike tilts one way and you can put one foot flat on the ground.
Odds are you would nail it every time if you simply didn't think about doing it.

Work on balancing while moving slowly/stopped. You should be able to come to a complete stop before you put your foot down. Scoot a little bit off to the left and put the foot down just as you stop.

When I come to a stop quickly, I can do it with no steps, but I tend to coast before normal stops, and so the last 3m (10ft) is essentially at a pace where I have to try balance the bike so I don't fall. I think this makes it slightly harder too.

I do what you say, as I never have to take my right foot off the brake because the bike is leaning that way, it's always leaning to the left, but still takes me a few tries. Practice makes perfect, right?

Easy of starting and tolerance for shitty fuel. These engines are descendants of 1930s designs which were the superbikes of their day. Kick starting is much easier if static compression is low, and fuel quality back then through the 1950s could be questionable in many places. Electric starters were badly done add-ons unti Honda began building decent motorcycle starter motors. If you own a Shovel, you can use modern electric starter motors but the solenoid arrangement is terrible so a kicker is mandatory and can be used to assist the electric starter.

I like soft compression on old engines and Harleys came with it stock. BTW it was also common to drop compression on Triumph twins to cut vibes and make them more streetable.

Shovel engines are sound designs but if you build one from scratch I'd use a late Evo Softail primary drive, clutch and five speed trans. The extra gear doesn't mean much but the late Softails came with the outstanding Denso electric starter.

Very few Shovels retain original carbs for good reason. A later Harley CV carb is inexpensive and a good choice.

I prefer points ignition on Shovels because it's cheap, works very well with kick starters, and is effortless to troubleshoot. The same points in a Chevy six worked harder per rev than they evey will in an HD.

Dirty carbs are my friends. A carb upgrade would be nice but I'd clean the stocker first since that's near zero money to check out the engine. Then I'd drain and stash it. You can never own too many spare carbs.

125's are kinda death machines m8, they have no power or all of the power, there is no inbetween so any time you ride one you are riding it as fast as it can possibly be ridden, you would be better off getting a 200cc 2 stroke or something like the Beta x trainer.

the x trainer is easily one of if not the best beginner trail bike on the market and they hold their value really well for resale, they are a 300cc 2 stroke but with a very mild pipe that restricts the power a lot and also makes the power delivery much smoother.

as far as rebuilds go, my dads had 3400 miles on it and he rebuilt it just because he was already doing a water pump seal, it probably wouldve been find for twice as long or more.
its used for sand and trail use so a good mix of hard and light throttle riding

You put the sticky on the side of the helmet just below the google strap and just behind the viewing port. You put the arms up at an angle so the strap slips on between the camera and your helmet. Put the camera as far forward as possible to avoid this view where it's 40% helmet

yes i have them but the reason i got the sesh is for a minimum bulk setup.
im thinking of doing the side mount above the goggle band, but it looks like the 90 degree connectors (which i have) will still be required for the angle.
i like the under peak mount but it requires the peak to be at the highest setting to keep the camera out of your view, and i like it low.

Additionally tariffs on imports would allow the domestic market to become more competitive.

He's supported background screening for weapons purchases and concealed carries himself. That's not even remotely comparable though as it's a protection for greater society rather than the individual.
Saying that since adviser could push an agenda is possible but I don't see how that would be any different from any other president, and so far there's no reason to believe there will be on this case. A learner policy would not necessarily even have an impact on the domestic market and could even have the opposite effect.
