So I actually was trying to buy a 718 Cayman which is at 60k but right now I have little over 40k and I can see a lot of 911 Carreras(including 4S models) for under 45k which is of years from 2005 - 2008.
I've always loved 911s but I always thought of buying them once I get older but I don't think so I'll ever buy one when I get older as I may have kids, other expenses ,sent them to college, etc.
Should I instead buy a 911 now? I'm really tempted too!
This particular one in the pic is a 2006 911 Carrera 4S Convertible that looks very clean and I may call the seller right now.

The car's at 15k miles and the posting says he hasn't driven much and he's the first owner.

Yeah, I know it's technically faster. But it's a fucking Porsche and turbos suck other than 0-60 memes.
Find a nice leftover 2015 H6 for $10K less.

Just remember, as soon as you've signed the paperwork you are now the owner of a used car.
Does it matter if someone else drove it for a year?

>>16248994
True but I saw almost all reviews saying it doesn't feel like a 4cyl at all and it drives really great.

Posting our pasta from the Porsche general. Funny how the Porsche threads come in waves.

*Disclaimer: You can buy a 944 for under a grand, but the overwhelming consensus in the community is that sorted cars cost ~$5k... so if you buy that car for under a grand when you're done it'll be around or over $5k. YMMV.

Uhm...nope.
Why wouldnt you get it, but seeing as youre americuck why not get a newer corvette or some shit, arent those considered good nowadays?
>>16249005
Yeah, I didn't see a Porsche thread so that's why I made this thread. Thanks for that chart BTW :)
>>16249015
Nah, I don't like the Corvette's much but I'm a little bit interested in the Grand Sport. It's just a personal preference.

Wut.
>>16248985
If you want a Cayman that fits under your budget, get yourself a Cayman R or a 987.2 Cayman S. Don't ever buy a brand new Porsche. Even ones that are 3 years old have less than 20k km on the odo and have already lost more than a third of their value while they haven't hit their first major service interval. Just do some research.

he's talking about the 718, dweeb.

That's actually a nice tip. Thanks BTW.

Corvettes are good nowadays.
But Americans fucking love Porsches. They are the ultimate luxury-sport here.
