So here's my situation. I am a traveling business that makes custom gadgets. I currently have a 2000 Buick Lesabre that I absolutely love. The bench seat is comfortable as hell for 1000+ mile trips and the cab can hold my entire workshop which I haul from convention to convention. Problem is, I try to keep up with it (oil changes, spark plugs, tire rotations, etc), but every trip, something goes wrong and drains whatever money I have made for the trip. I'm looking for a car that can really take those long trips and heavy loads but still be somewhat reliable. Key things that I need:
* Ability to load and haul about 500+ pounds of stuff along with my 230 pound ass.
* Lots of room (full size preferred) in front as I am 6'3" and being in a car for 9 hour days gets a little cramped.
* Able to take two or three yearly 4000-6000 mile trips, each trip lasting 2-4 weeks.
I've try Google searching and reading some articles but nothing is the same from one article to the next and many of the cars end up being compacts. I don't mind a truck, but I have to start worrying about gas mileage if it gets too big. Presently, I'm holding at about 25-27 MPG highway.
Any suggestions?
Any Panther or B-body

Just lease something retard

Lease?.. you mean get fucked over for a shit ton of money because I blew their bullshit 40000 mile over 3 years limit on the first fucking year and a half? You fucking stupid or something?
Go do some research... I drive nearly 75000 miles inside of three years. Subtract the usual 40000 miles included on the lease and I'm left paying the bill on the remaining 35000 miles at an average of $0.15 per mile, that's an additional $5250... might as well have it fucking break down every trip at that price.

Strike that, looked at it wrong. I will look more into the panther, it looks like something I can get rather cheap and not annoying to keep up with.

Literally anywhere in the US you can find a cheap panther or B body

Find a nice LX Sport, LSE, or clean Town Car, don't buy a vomit comet p71

Yeah, when I first searched it... I saw primarily cars from pre 1986, then I realized I was looking at it wrong.
