last month i was in a stupid fender bender and i got the blame for it even tho the other guy wasnt paying attention to where he was going.

i'v been driving for 8yrs and this is my first non serious accident. even sense then i'v been too scared to drive. i live in NYC and traffic here is horrible. apart from that i never have gotten points on my license for violating any traffic law. i'm paranoid from the people around me. i always see other drivers doing unsafe moves and i'm scared of getting hit. like this morning i saw some bitch getting real close to me from the back.

i'm still pissed about what happened. how can i get over this feeling /o/? i spoke to some people i now about how i feel and they just tell me it happens to everyone

It's not a bad thing, you'll be a more careful driver. I certainly am now. If you're in the downtown of your city just don't drive. Try to move a bit away from the city it's a low quality of life.
