Well it's complicated

Since my uncle has his brother still alive (he's full of cash btw, he drives a Ferrari and he deserved it since he worked hard all his life)

My other uncle and his son took it for themselves but the car could have been given to my father since he did not received any of the legacy

Maybe I'm gonna buy it from them but it would be a shame if they did not made a price for me (since you can't find one even in a lame condition for less than 10 grands)

Exactly my thoughts. I bought one when I graduated high school when I realized that wanting a car that was new-ish, cheap, and didn't look bulbous was pretty damn hard.

Honestly the hard angles do it for me. And that little rectangular grille reminds me of the last generation of Tiburon but on a more "grown up" chassis.

That being said, I wish the Avensis was available in the US.

Well....that's because the 240 was originally designed in the 60's and remained little changed until production ended in 1993. Typically they're not that bad though, the one you drove probably needed shocks, struts, and bushings which go to shit from age even if the mileage is low.
