I'd likely do a reskin of a classic car, a US muscle car, most likely the old dodge charger (68 I think).
I'd put the current 5.0 litre mustang v8 in it, RWD, with right hand drive due to living in the uk, I'd keep the transmission from the mustang too.
I'd keep the tyres stock, ie high sidewalls. I'd also consider raising the ride height so it has a bit of a mad max interceptor feel too it.
I expect it would cost the earth though so its just a pipe dream.

small 2 seater roadster/coupe Im talking Alpine size or as close as I can get
Bolt 3.0 V8 - 6 speed sequential
minimalist, simple radio with aux and a couple of speakers. no nav, touchscreen and shit
depends on size of car something like a 45 AR is what Im thinking
pushrod
well it would be an extremely light car with 450hp so quick at the least
$150k+ easy
have a 4 cylinder model as a budget option and different stages of turbo for those who want to die

Would probably start somewhere along the lines of an old Charger or Chevelle for the body, do up the interior for comfort mostly, nice materials and so on.
Now, we go full retard and schlap a modified TVR speed12 in it with a 6 speed.
Tires would remain sort of thick for cushion (17-18" ish for the rims?), but obviously very wide in the back, think Viper wide.
Nothing too advanced for suspension, maybe coil overs if they are done right. Top speed would be geared for well north of 200 obviously.
And finally price... haven't the foggiest. A lot. One would be better off buying a house with what it could cost.
