that dumb sticky doesn't help, my needs:
>relatively small(when i weave in and out of traffic, I want to fit in between people)
>relatively quick(top speed is overrated, but I do want to accelerate from 60-80 like nothing when weaving in and out of said traffic)
>good handling(again, a bunch of traffic where im at)
>gets around 30(highway) or higher mpg
>room isn't a concern
>cost isnt a concern, but buying a new car is retarded
>safety isn't a concern
thanks bros

323F/Familia/Protégé
The sporty version has the 2.0 tarbo engine and its pretty quick as it's light af. Lots of space, fit all 4 winter tires without lowering the rear seats.
Also mazdaspeed bodykit looks Bretty gud

Protege are decent. I have the Mazda speed with 2.0 turbo. It's great however it's expensive to mod to make more power. If you want to do anything serious to it you need a custom ecu or fuel and timing controller. I'm selling mine if your close to the western nc area.
C5 or c6 zo6
Your needs are shit and you drive like a fucking asshole.

They only good thing about the MS Protege was the interior and factory rice, the FS turbo engine is complete shit, and it's not even forged from the factory so modding it is either fruitless or going to get expensive and at that point you might as well swap in a KL and turbo it because it's going to cost the same amount of money
>good mpg
>quick
Pick one

Can't? Or won't?
The only thing that fits your needs perfectly is a bike.
Well you are a massive faggot the likes of which this board has never seen before. But if we're serious here, you want a hot hatch, something like Fiesta ST or Golf GTI.

Forged crank no forged internals. It can take up to 10 psi stock. The factory settings is about 5 psi. If you want to run higher it needs forged pistons etc. It will never be a fast straight line car but for cornering events it's really tight. The suspension and steering is awesome. As you said the motor and by extension the ecu is weak. You get fuel cut real easy once you upgrade the plastic intercooler piping to metal and make it flow better. Upgraded ecu will help this greatly. Also the stock side mount intercooler heat soaks fast.
I'm the guy you replied to. It's a fun car to drive in the twisties but it's never gonna win any drag races. Even among fwd shitboxes. It is fast enough to beat Hondas at stoplights but the gearing is kinda low so once you get going it tops out pretty fast.
