People who live in apartments/condos/complexes: How do you manage your project car?
Any tips, problems?
What do you do with parts and tools?

Not poor at all, just like moving around every couple years. Was going to rent a house, but I'd rather live in an apartment and invest the difference.
>>16222710
that means you are still poor
one does not simply spend cash on project cars unless they atleast have a house that is owned by them
>>16222722
TIL making 7% on investments a year vs owning a home in a depreciating market makes me poor.
Anything else, or do you want to contribute actual content?

You buy/rent a garage in a garage complex.

If you can live without electricity, or figure out some way to get it in there, a large storage unit is a pretty good idea. Did this with a larger one a few years back when I was basically couch surfing for a couple of years

You dont need a house to have a garage...
>>16222761
I know. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone came up with an organized way to work on one that's kept mostly in a shared parking lot.

When I lived in an apartment, I did my own maintenance (oil changes, etc.) just in the parking lot of my complex. I basically had to time it so that the apartment manager wouldn't see me and sperg out. Anything that seemed like it would take a while I would just move my car onto the street and work on it there.
If you have a "project" car that you're going to be swapping the engine on or whatever then you should probably do as >>16222747 suggested and rent a garage in a garage complex.
>>16222823
I second this.
I do all single-day maintenance/repairs right in my parking lot. I also maintain a single vehicle which is sort of a running project, and won't go full blown project car until acquiring a garage/storage unit/house.

>house meme
Living in a house is superior to living in an ampartment, regardless if your house is a bloody hut.
>>16222684
i asked the complex beforehand if i could buy more spots and they said yes
when i start fabbing i will do what haggard garage does cept downtown
buy garage space at a storage facility. Make sure niggers can't steal your shit from there though
Either that or find/make a friend with property and work on it there
>>16222710
Poor people don't have garages.
Your poor.
i have property about two hours drive away with a warehouse sized shed. just leave my projects there.

or maybe he lives in the city in a 30th floor penthouse
just because you live in the middle of bumfuck arkansas and pay $100 a month rent for a fibro shack with garage doesnt mean you are rich, fucking idiot.
