So the chassis may have 33k, but the engine probably doesnt. On top of that its VERY difficult to put an S5 engine in an S4 without having a good understanding of exactly what to do.
You cant roll back rx7 odos. They instantly break if you try.
Also 5k is too much for not being all original

There are two ways.
Change EVERY wiring harness from headlights to taillights.
Or install ALL the S4 intake, fuel, cooling, and oiling system on the S5 block.
Both arent easy.
Either way. Not original engine. Not worth 5k. Not 33k miles

Unless you know exactly what happened with the engine, i would avoid it.
I dont see why he would need to swap the stock engine if it was low miles.

In the op I said that he had found it laying in someone's barn in Indiana. It was probably fucked up for some reason or another. Like I said the whole thing sounded sketch to me but i wanted to hear /o/s opinion. I didn't get a chance to see the engine bay I met him outside a pizzeria and spoke to him for a few minutes and took his number. If I can get him to send a pic I'll post it
