For some reason I can't get motivated to step outside and install my battery disconnect solenoid..
Its easy...

All I need to do is:
- clip and strip the positive cable for the engine side
- crimp on eyelet for that
- bolt new battery side positive cable that already has an eye
- bolt solenoid down inside engine bay
- connect the positive cables to the main lugs on the solenoid
- run a small positive wire to the coil on the solenoid
- route a ground wire for the coil to a switch on my dash

Most of my friends are back with their families for the holiday weekend. Don't really know where to go out or what to do.

Hopefully finish fixing the rust holes, and then doing a full detail of the interior. Then replacing the starter + trans fluid in the civic, and continuing to go over the hardbody.

Working. I *was* installing a hard dog roll bar earlier today but multiple fuck ups and delays left it unfinished before I had to go to work.

Need to drop transmission to install it...
It is fucked from who ever did the previous clutch job
Eccentric stud on gear shifter stripped
Driveshaft bolts torqued like a mf and partially stripped.
Tranny to engine torqued like a mf. Breaker bar isn't strong enough or doesn't fit.

Then I see bicycle lights on the shock mounts? Lol? Not sure what happened there. They needed spacers so they put them? Bike lights seem more expensive than spacers so don't know why.

Want to go black Friday shopping. No money due to clutch job/cylinder. Don't need anything.

Anything I want, doesn't go on sale anyways. Car parts, tools, etc all still full price. All the blacj Friday deals suck. Inferior items at a marked up price so they can be sold at 60% off.

Go to pick up some bolts. Traffic like crazy.

I hid out in the house with the cats all day, fuck going outside on Black Friday. I've been in an accident on every single Black Friday 10 years running, and not a single one was my fault. (9 of them were getting rear ended while at a stop light, 1 was someone backing out of a parking spot into the side of my car.) I just bought a new car, I'm not trying to kill it yet.

Wen't to a time attack at the local track. Still getting to grips with the car since we've been together only since August but I feel I'm slowly getting better. On a short 30 secs course, my time was within a second of Mercs and MKVII GTIs and, considering that my car is a 23 years old 1300cc Suzuki without any electronic aids or 4WD, I feel quite satisfied with my performance.

Still, loneliness kicks in. I miss her a lot. I don't like being a ronery driva. Now I gotta stay home for the weekend doing a fucking paper on Aristotles and Aedipus due monday.
