Why dont you drive an electric car?
Because they're overpriced and impractical.

Today's battery tech still hasn't caught up to electrical demands of a fully-electric vehicle with today's roads that require a gasoline-driven vehicle. It makes it very impractical to use as well as costly to own.

>meanwhile. plenty of volts and leafs and teslas driving around just fine
what are you getting at exactly?
>>16219783
>You can't turbo charge a leaf/
It gets cold where I live.

With that logic, there are just as much, if not more gasoline-powered vehicles driving around. Even more people that cannot afford newer cars, driving 90's econoboxes like Civics and early 2000's Toyotas.
It hasn't reached mainstream consumer base as it still retains it's niche placement in the automotive world. Its simply not affordable yet today.

oh, i see what you mean, and yes the s curve hasn't gone vertical yet
i'm pretty sure the model 3 will be that turning point though. the chevy bolt is 30 grand ish with like 230 miles of range but it has zero appeal. the model 3 is a tesla so it has brand recognition and brand prestige

Because I wouldn't be able to make it home on one charge, and I don't feel like addibg 45 minutes to my trip.
I also enjoy driving a manual.
I do.
I have a LEAF and have a Model 3 on reservation.

Volts, Leafs, and Teslas are expensive unless you live in communist Norway where the government makes them cheap

no
Norway makes EVs cost what they do in the rest of the world. It is all other cars that Norway doubles the price on.
LEAF and Volt are affordable for normal people.
