Why didn't he just open the window? Or turn on the A/C?
AC steals horsepower
open window ruins aerodynamics

Both of these are correct. Especially in an S2000, where the AC compressor basically rapes your face with parasitic loss and the aerodynamics aren't all that great.

You know what else slows you down. Getting out of the car to puke.
How much HP could you lose from turning on AC? 10 at most? Just guard your line.

s2000 owner here, it's very noticeable with the AC on because the car makes 150 torques at 9000rpm. Usually racing I'm never below 6 grand because vtec, but if I am, I am at a severe loss of torque. even using 1 torques to drive the AC compressor would probably be noticeable.

>Implying racecars have AC.

Not saying anon's s2k is a rally car but come on
>>16205544
Racecars absolutely have AC.
FIA mandates it because high cockpit temps are dangerous for the drivers, especially on mid engined cars
IIRC the limit is 30 or 32°C
why didn't he just puke in the car?
>>16208517
He's a respectable old man and doesn't give a fuck about winning as long as he gets an interesting race.
>>16208517
Would you puke in your car?
>>16208517
That's a Honda S2000. Whatever shitbox you drive in is okay to puke in, but not the S2000.

Markiplier in 30 years?

This. He was the best driver of the series.

it's just a street race
It's not like anyone really believes Takumi won against him.
