Eh RWD in winter is not so bad really except when exiting the highway it may feel sketchy but you won't die if you drive a bit slower than you usually do, just try not to drive over the speed limit in the wet always if you want to live.
ABS isn't that great for winter braking though, my shitbox has been having the ABS light always on for some reason so I don't trust it and I treat braking my car like it has no ABS.

Valleyborn here, a 10 km stretch of Chilliwack Lake Rd (pic related) has been repaved with fresh asphalt and the construction crew did a fantastic job, by far my favorite drive in the valley right now. If you're interested in trying it before it gets beat to shit by winter and buried in snow you better do it soon, this is probably the last snowless weekend up there.
