I did a "no-no" in my '14 GT500. Shifted with my forearm while my right hand was in a brace. That took some practice

A few years back, I went rockwall climbing and overexerted myself. The next day, every muscle in my upper body was cramping up with almost every motion. For some dumbass reason I decided to ride my motorcycle to work. I was 4 miles in when my left arm cramped up incredibly bad and I had to drape it across my chest against the tank. For the next 15 miles, through traffic, I was reaching over and operating the clutch with my right hand. That fucking sucked.

I also had someone drive into the side of me on my bike and snap the gear shifter off. They drove off too, stupid fucker. thankfully I had some twine in my backpack and tied two strands to the snapped shifter linkage. Pull one to shift up, pull one to shift down. I didn't have to shift much to get home- probably used the twine 5-10 times total. Still...

In 2009, I had my race car (no longer own it) dropped off at the dyno for a tune prior to the last races of the season the following day. I thought I'd take the risk and drive it home since my buddy with the trailer had to leave. It got so delayed that I had to drive home in the dark during a snowstorm. Slicks, manual brakes, manual steering, a huge cowl hood, no heat, no defroster, no wipers, oodles of power. Yep. That fucking sucked. Had to stick my head out of the window the ENTIRE way back. Wiped off snot with a shop towel. Took 3 hours to get back to the shop. Thankfully it was late November so the snow had a hard time sticking, but holy hell that was awful.

Also my friend and I did this in his straight piped rx7 once. A dodge avenger tried messing with him and we were waiting for a good time to pass. Right as he flick the lights back on he shifted into 4th and shot a massive flame right next to the avengers door.
