No codes, no fluid leaks, but it's obvious that the whistle rises with the throttle, especially when the engine hasn't warmed up yet.
How do I diagnose this? Faulty throttle body, vacuum leak?

How to find the leak?

If vacuum jiggle any rubber hoses from the butterfly back on the intake or look for cracked pipes or gaskits around the idle controller.
Could be intake manifold or exhaust leak
