Bought my first car. Polo 1.4 SE 75.
I posted here a few days ago before I bought the thing and just got abuse from burgers about lel Eurocuck shitbox etc etc. Whatever.
So come at me some more. I don't care. I'm buzzing that I finally have a car and its been well maintained and has good mileage for its age.

Is that the exact car? Doesn't have an MOT - mot-history.net
Looks nice though, history doesn't show anything worrying. Maybe get the tracking done but that isn't expensive. Much nicer than a Corsa or a Fiesta, enjoy anon

Loving it so Far.

Its not the exact car but same model and colour.
I got it for £2000. Had the cam belt and water pump replaced and oil and antifreeze changed as part of the deal. I'm going to get my mechanic to take a look this weekend but I'm hoping for no shocks. One lady owner etc, only done about 5-6k a year the past 5 years.

Stick the plate in to that website I posted, will show all advisories etc on past MOTs so you can see if anything has been ignored that is likely to give issues.
£2k for a low mileage Polo with a recent cam belt? Good purchase, you should get a lot of life out of that

I have MOT history for it. It failed last time around due to handbrake efficiency issue, worn tyres and suspension arm bushes being worn. Previous fails were for minor shit like tyre wear, windscreen wipers and wrong coloured bulbs lol.
I'm no mechanic but appears to be in good nick. Its done just under 83,000 in almost 11 years. If it lasts me another 3 years I'll be more than happy.

Also, deteriorated brake hoses have been an advisory for some time but I will get my mechanic to sort those asap I think.
bumping my 'Eurocuck shitbox'

I'm guessing OP is from the UK, they never got the 1st gen Twingo.

Wow good job, you bought a shit car!
Now go back to /b/, you don't belong here.
Post like these make me feel so grateful to live in America where I didn't have to drive a sub 2.0l piece of shit for a first car.
>1.4
So just as slow as your mates but more expensive to insure? You fucked up.

Are you so lazy that you need us to call your car shit? Literally just ask the nearest person what they think of it
Literally worse than mjet's >DIESEL FIAT, at least that thing had some torque.
>>16175785

Thank God, the older model with bug eyes is just ugly, what the hell where they thinking.
>>16177232
It was that awkward "let's put bugeyes on everything" period.
I think they're cute though.
>>16177245
Can't understand why it caught on, I think they are advanced ugly. E-Class is the living example of this.
