There are two things I don't understand about the ferndale.
Why doesn't it have a handbrake? I have never seen a car without a handbrake. Is that a thing with older cars?
How does gear 2 make it easier to control? I currently drive an automatic and gear 2 is the same as D except it disables 3rd and 4th gear.

Basically the gear that fucks you is 1st, since you just spin the tires and wreck. Putting it in 2nd makes it easier if you just mash the throttle all the time since you skip 1st altogether.

Its not too fresh to people anymore, not that much content in the game, novelty wears off pretty quick and you really see the bugs in the woodwork.

I have pretty much assembled the Satsuma and all its upgrades at this point. Just gonna get it tuned, and painted fancy, then drive it around being a goon for a little while. After that I am pretty much done with the game until some content upgrades come in. Not like there is much of an exploration aspect that makes you want to wander the map... so yeah.

The tires are pretty much what they say they are. Rally is of course grippy as fuck for dirt, but they still do fine on pavement as far as I can tell. The acceleration and responsiveness feels like garbage on asphalt/tarmac/whatever compared to the slicks.

Then there's like an all-season type of shit, its whatever.

Then there are slicks. All things pavement the slicks of course are the best.

You missed the bolt on the fuel line coming out of the gas tank running to forward. You're leaking gas.

How does the choke work in this game? In real life you pull it out to start and wile the engine is cold, right? While in game rpm increases when you push it in.

Also what parts can you lose and what bolts get untightened when you understeer into ditches? So far only lost a muffler.
And can bolts get untightened when the car glitches out when you try to J it out of the ditch?

Working on getting my percentage of alt-f4 from failed store runs to like maybe 50% or so from the 80%+ it is right now. Keep rolling the satsuma end over end like a big metal ragdoll every time I try to hit the road in it. The sewage truck barrels through these dirtshit roads like a champ but the satsuma in its freshly built form just can't hang. Take a crest? Flip into a ditch, try to J out, die of a full bar of some variety

I dunno if it's different for cars but for my bike I pull it all the way on, start her up and once she starts to idle properly/the revs starts to rise I start to remove choke progressively until it's all the way off and we're idling normally.

You don't even need the choke in game if you start her with full throttle and keep revving her around ~4-5k until the temperature starts to rise and she idles without stalling.
